Please contact us as early as possible to make an appointment for
haemodialysis.

• That your nephrologist finds guest dialysis appropriate for you
• That you bring your medicine
• That you must take care of transportation to and from dialysis
yourself

If you have an appointment for guest dialysis, please make sure your
usual dialysis unit will fill in the papers we forward to you.
We would like to receive these papers no later than two weeks prior to
your first dialysis appointment with us.

The Heamodialysis Clinic is a part of the Department of Renal Medicine, Aarhus University Hospital.

The units have capacity for 50 patients. In addition to outpatients, the
units also receive acute patients for dialysis.

The Department of Renal Medicine has two satellite units at Regional
Hospital Randers and at Regional Hospital Horsens.

The dialysis unit in Horsens covers the south-eastern part of the Central
Denmark Region in collaboration with the units in Aarhus. Horsens has
capacity for 15 patients and treats only outpatients.

The dialysis unit in Randers covers the north-eastern part of the Central
Denmark Region in collaboration with the units in Aarhus. Randers has
capacity for 16 patients and treats only outpatients.
